Viking Student Spotlight

Taylor Blank is a standout senior who leads by example on a daily basis here at Northeast.

In sixth grade, given the choice between tuba and clarinet, Taylor Blank chose the tuba because his friend played it. Evidently, he made a great choice, as today band director Cliff Dawson nominated him for this month’s Senior Highlight because of his superior tuba skills and his leadership abilities. Taylor recently demonstratedhis complicated tuba expertise when he was chosen to participate in the Florida State Ensemble—an elite ensemble with just a few people selected from Pinellas County.
