Community School
Adult and Community Education
Northeast Community School
offers evening classes for students and adults. Evening classes can be taken for credit toward a high school diploma. Classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:15 to 9:00. Class schedules are based on student needs.
How to Register for a High School Credit Class:
Students must obtain a completed High School Credit Referral Form from their day school Guidance Counselor and bring it to the Community School on the night they enroll in class. The Community School office is located in Building 5, Room 2.
There are four main subjects a student can take at night school but she/he can only take one class each evening because the courses are 2 1/2 hours long. The exception is the Business class which is offered from 2:30 to 5:00 pm. All classes are available to any currently enrolled high school student.
