The mission of Northeast High School is to promote highest academic achievement
through a positive and safe learning environment

Northeast High School is a four year, comprehensive high school, with a current enrollment of over 1970 students. It ranks as one of the largest high schools in the Pinellas County School System and it serves a diverse student population with programs designed to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities and interests. These programs range from college level classes, leading to advanced placement and/or college credit, to programs designed to meet the needs of those who plan to enter the work force immediately after graduation. Some unique opportunities include a program, Fast Track Baccalaureate, that permits a student to receive a bachelor's degree within three years of graduating from high school. Also, Northeast is the site of the Transportation Academy that prepares students for high paying jobs in the automotive industry as well as for post secondary education. Further, there is a well established transitional program for incoming ninth graders, QUEST, that provides an integrated curriculum with an emphasis on experiential and performance based learning.
